It's a....

GIRL!

Heidi and I found out today we're having a baby girl in June. Still weird to think in less than five months. We're going to have a little baby girl in tow where ever we go. I feel like I should have some deep and profound thoughts right now, but all I can think about is that I have no idea what's about to happen. Maybe that's for the best.

Here's a couple more photos I recently finished. The first from Dublin, and the second a joshua tree at Red Rock Canyon. Not sure how to categorize them so they are stuck here til I decide where to put them. I am also trying to figure out how to display another piece I finished this past weekend. hope to get it up in the next day or two.

Now that Christmas and New Years are over it's back to work. The break has been productive though art-wise. Finally got the above picture the way I wanted it.

The photo was from our trip to Death Valley last spring. Coming back from Death Valley we came across this view as we were heading into Lone Pine. It was funny because we were trying to find the place where Heidi's dad had taken one of Heidi's favorite photos of his, and we ran across this. Hope you enjoy it.

This photo was my first attempt at an HDR image (after the fact). Technically I would have shot it a lot differently had I originally intended it to be an HDR image. Maybe in the near future I can get some more actual HDR images. I am also finishing up a piece that is very close to a finished piece. Maybe in the next couple of days.

Christmas 08

Well we managed another Christmas. We spent a fairly quiet four days in Thousand Oaks with my family. And had by far one our coldest Christmases, closest we'll probably come to a white Christmas in So Cal. We also had a fun little trip to the Santa Barbara zoo. Enjoy the photos.
